SIMS Support Team showcases new technology

Education technology experts ACS and their ACS SIMS Support team have been training and supporting over 120 schools for many years. With the ever changing legislation, technology and database modules need to be changed and upgraded.

On Wednesday 10th July the ACS SIMS Support team, headed up by Mandy Purdy, showcased the new module in their school software, SIMS, for recording and managing staff performance.

Several teachers and school representatives attended the event as the ACS SIMS Support team gave a demonstration of what can be done with ‘SIMS Personnel’.

With this programme you can report on staff performance and this is completely bespoke to your school.

Legislation has changed with effect from September 2013 where pay is linked to staff performance. The software and modules that ACS can provide work in line with the changes.

Mandy Purdy said:

“The staff performance enhancements to SIMS Personnel will support schools affected by the new performance related pay legislation as it gathers the evidence required to make pay related decisions. You can set objectives, track individual progress and recognise achievement.

“We wanted to showcase everything that the module could do and we have already received fantastic feedback. The service we can provide and at the cost in which we can provide it is extremely competitive. We just want to support schools, teachers and pupils in their development with the technology, training and advice we can provide

“We would advise all schools to at least have a conversation with us or let the SIMS team present the software and you will see how beneficial the support can be both in the short and long term.”
