Schools to Benefit from Strengthened ACS Team
Education providers in Yorkshire are set to benefit from a new appointment to the SIMS Consultancy Team as ACS continues to develop its ever popular support systems
Darren Rose joins the team as Senior SIMS Consultant and has been tasked with supporting schools enabling a bridged gap between adopting an improvement strategy and the implementation through the CAPITA range of products, including SIMS.net and Microsoft products.
He brings with him more than eight years experience in a similar consultancy role working within the education sector implementing improvement plans whilst providing advice and support on statutory obligations such as Data Handling, Ofsted and SEND.
Kevin McEwen, ACS managing director said: “We are thrilled with Darren’s appointment – his knowledge will further enhance our offering to schools with his many years of leading edge SIMS consultancy and statutory advice services.
“He will complement our already experienced SIMS consultancy team extremely well and will be a great asset in helping us raise the bar in ICT excellence for our schools.”
Darren has already started looking into ways of further improving accurate recording of attendance records, pupil awards systems, rolling out an effective anti-bullying policy to include the new Ofsted reporting requirements as well as increasing data sharing across schools.

ACS currently manage more than 250 school curriculums and SIMS ICT across Yorkshire and the team fully understands how schools use ICT, they have been supporting schools in the North of England for over 15 years.
