ACS Set to Break the Mould

IT Support sessions running in November

The team from IT specialists ACS is inviting all education professionals from across the region to attend a specially tailored event called ‘Breaking the mould of support’ to educate them about new advances in the world of educational IT.

The free event on Wednesday 6th November at the Village Hotel North, Leeds will cover:

• The changes on the new computing national curriculum
• The support offered by the ACS Group
• A presentation from Sahara on Clever Touch – Expanding the limits of touch screen technology, delivered by Matt Stoddard
• A briefing on SIMS Support – “Meeting your changing statuary requirements with SIMS” presented by the new ACS Senior SIMS Consultant Darren Rose.

Attendees will have the choice of two sessions running on the 6th November:

• Session one – registration starts at 8.30am with the event running from 9.30 until 12.30.
• Session two – registration will be 13:00 prompt with the event finishing at 16:00.

Kevin McEwen, ACS managing director said: “We are very excited about delivering this event, this is the 2nd in a string of proposed events for teachers and other education professionals to get involved in.

“As technology continues to develop and new advances are brought to market, we want to ensure the schools that we are working with are using the most up to date systems, to improve the delivery of IT and bring IT into the day to day classroom environment.”

ACS currently manage more than 300 school curriculums and SIMS IT across Yorkshire and the team fully understands how schools use IT, they have been supporting schools in the North of England for over 15 years.
