ACS Launches New Training Centre
ACS launched its new training centre with ‘SIMS Discover Overview’ course.
The new space is a new extension to the recent office developments at ACS, offering low rent accommodation to small local business, at the first floor of the ACS Doncaster building.
Local schools will benefit from a range of ICT training courses, by their ICT support team. Courses will include a full spectrum of our ICT services to school. Such as Interactive whiteboard training, SIMS modules, Microsoft Office, Windows courses, iOS and iPad app training.
The training suite of course has some great ICT facilities. The presenter has a 60″ interactive whiteboard, loaded with all of our regular school ICT software. Each workstation comes equipped with its own brand new laptop for teachers to work from, ensuring users get a hands on approach to training.

About the SIMS Discover Course at ACS
This course will provide delegates with an overview of the valuable SIMS Discover module, an analysis tool which presents data in a highly visual way. This course will give you an understanding of the relationship between Discover & SIMS and the range and scope of the pre-defined Discover graphs.

About SIMS Discover
SIMS Discover takes data analysis to a new level. It is a cutting edge graphical analysis tool that enables you to discover connections you never knew existed before.
Discover has a flexible, easy-to-use, drag and drop tool which is used to analyse school’s SIMS data. SIMS Discover enables you to access the majority of pupil/student data on one screen including Pupil, Attendance, Behaviour, Exclusions and Assessment data, as well as SEN, Pre-Admissions and Achievement data.
